Support Group for Modern Times with Liz Haley and Shannon Algeo
Set within the domestic space of the GLIMMERS exhibition, at the Carolyn Glasoe Bailey Foundation, this gathering is an invitation to step away from the digital overwhelm of social media and the news cycle and into a shared physical environment. Together, we will hold space for the complex emotions tied to our current global and national climate, practicing mutual support through the simple, vital acts of listening and sharing.
Come as you are; leave a little less alone.
Saturday, March 21, 4-6 PM at CGBF Gallery

Please join us for a conversation with artist, Peter Rostovsky, on Sunday 10/26 at 5PM

Art Talk: The Importance of Place in Creative Practice Join us for a thoughtful conversation exploring how place shapes artistic vision, process, and community. This special morning brings together artists who have created work in both Brooklyn and Ojai, alongside the Director of a Minnesota-based residency program, The Nemeth Arts Center, that partners with our foundation to exchange artists between regions. Together, they'll discuss how geography, environment, and local culture influence creative expression, and what it means to carry one place into another through art.
An Ojai Institute Event - Free to the Public - 248 S. Montgomery Street, Downtown Ojai
Come for coffee. Stay for conversation

Across the Nation: An Artful Gathering in Ojai—CGBF Gala 2025—celebrates a year of artistic exchange, collaboration, and inspiration. Throughout the past year, we have welcomed visiting curators, generous donors, other nonprofit organizations, and visionary artists from all corners of the country, each bringing their unique perspectives and creative spirit to Ojai. This gala is a culmination of those journeys—a moment to honor the connections forged, the ideas shared, and the transformative power of art that transcends geography. Join us for an unforgettable evening full of fine art & fine food as we reflect on a year of artistic exploration and look ahead to new horizons.
